While demand continues to increase, the success of the Extreme has allowed McComposites to commit to all-out production of models, and wait times are down to under 12 weeks!

The DS Extreme now has even stiffer custom molded spars and control surfaces, and fuse and stab mods for extra stiffness and performance.

The F3F model is has also been upgraded with stiff spars and surfaces, and has been DS'd to 190 mph with no problems.  It now also comes with carbon stabs at no extra charge.

 The Extreme has been flown on radar to 249 mph...

THE WORLD RECORD FOR DS!!!

  • The Extreme was designed to be the best high
    performance sailplane available at 78"/2 meter wing
    span. Targeted at entry level F3F slope racing,
    dynamic soaring, and overall high performance slope
    flying.   The intention was to have one plane that does
    all the various slope disciplines reasonably well and
    is fun to fly. The Extreme is not intended to be the
    ultimate slope racer or DS plane but an affordable
    option compared to larger more expensive models. Pylon
    turns, high speed dives and aerobatics on the front
    side, 170 MPH plus DS on the back. Due to its mid-tail
    with elevator design, pitch stability is excellent and
    results in smooth, predictable flight characteristics.
    Unique construction methods insure excellent
    durability, solid flight performance, and stable
    airframe parts. Portability is convenient with 2 piece
    wings and stabs. The airframe is built with high
    quality composite fabrics and epoxies. All parts are
    post cured at elevated temperatures for maximum
    strength and stability. Molds are painted with expensive two
    part automotive paints that are durable, shiny and
    maintainable.
